After Big County put up a $100K reward..I've heard it's gone up to $175 after a few private donations. Also that Shf Villanueva called out LeBron James on social media to match the donations since James is such a great social justice warrior and all.
The radio traffic from the female deputy is hard to listen to. And if you've seen the footage of her putting a TQ on her partner..she is bad-*****..you can see her whole front torso full of blood..yet there she is tending to her partner.
Prayers to them both and all of LASD.

He's not going to be much of hero inside, at least not for a couple of years.

He'll have a one-person cell and will not have any contact with other inmates. I did my post-academy assignment at Men's Central Jail and we had the accused killer of a Carson Station deputy in custody there. He had a pretty miserable existence. No one to talk to, only a few short breaks outside of his cell each week for exercise (alone in the exercise room). Absolutely no contact with other inmates. No TV or radio. Not much to read. He got exactly the bare minimum that the law required and nothing more.

You gotta remember that L.A. County deputy sheriff's are his hosts while he is sitting in jail. It'll be at least two years, and a conviction, before he transfers to the state system.

A couple of the murderers and attempted murderers of my partners weren't allowed to stay in our jail unless they were being transported to their court dates. They stayed in a neighboring county's jail. Same rules though, I'm sure.

Deonte's attorney is complaining that he wants his client moved to a non LASD detention facility.

Seems his client doesn't feel "comfortable" in LASD custody.

Now that the lid is off. MCB has known who this guy is from the get go. They didn't go public and file charges because of ongoing due diligence investigations, and witness affidavits. Crossing every T and dotting every I.

LASD has done a fine job. Now lets see if the DA's office and the CrapOfornia Court system will bury this turd as deep as he deserves.
