    Pelican 7600- Awesome patrol flashlight

I just ordered one of these and looking forward to it. Not on patrol any more, but this seems like the best all purpose USB rechargeable light to go with. Love the design as well.

Can you please give me feedback on why? What is it the officers like, dont like? Do they use the USB recharge feature alot? Just like the name, durability, life time warranty?

      Thanks for any additional feedback.

        Lots of things

Price point - good cost / value. I sell the combo that comes with a nylon case and traffic wand attachment

Recharging without a big cradle and can use disposable CR123 batteries

Small size - people are getting away from stinger size

        Color change feature

        Clip

        Water proof

        Warranty

        Brightness

        Run time

We also do a lot of Strions and Nightsticks. Again people are downsizing as the performance of smaller lights improves

What is the advantage of this light over a Streamlight Stinger besides weight?

It has a rotating collar to a USB port so you can charge it like your cell phone, on the fly anywhere. There are also 4-5 programmable modes. It is water proof and has a built in red and green light LED to select. It was designed for police and patrol officers.

Please check out the video I posted above.

I'm definitely not a seasoned patrol cop, but I definitely have an old school mindset considering I'm on the tail end of Gen X. I still very much prefer my Stingers and SLs.

I always have my handheld Surefire P2X Defender Fury in my SAP pocket. It was held in place with the Thrym Switchback.

When I was on graves, my primary was a SL with a Malkoff LED drop-in and my backup was the handheld Surefire. Now that I'm on days, my primary is my handheld Surefire and the SL is in my bag just in case.

I have a Stinger too which I've used in a different division/position, but that's what I run in patrol. Not counting my weapon lights, of course.

It's a lot like pulling a straight stick (or if you're approved to run a PR24) over a collapsible. Just a different effect.

I have one but I prefer the Streamlight stinger led hl. I lounge the extra size and heft. Perfect light in my opinion.

Got the light today, its a beast. Should be a nice long term investment.

I have three of them. One in the house, and one in each of my family's cars.
