Any officer who accepts such an offer is opening himself to false allegations. Also, I doubt the female officers want the public to feel free offering them quickies.

Why would this be any different that Winestein trading jobs for sex? Those starlets were flat out prostitutes and got a great paying job in exchange for the sex. A tip is given for some type of service that was rendered. So the new housewife prostitutes would be giving sex in exchange for some type of service - no speeding ticket - favorable ruling in traffic accident, etc.

I’m not even sure what to say about this.

There was a similar policy in Hawaii until 2014-Hawaii Police Won't Get to Have Sex With Prostitutes Anymore

that's just dumb, there's a millions ways that will be abused - by both officers and citizens alike. If they're going to let police get such a "gratuity" then they should let all business transactions. That cute barista - instead of sticking a tip in the jar, just offer to stick a different tip somewhere else! I'm sure everyone will love that.

I thought I'd seen everything... nope, guess not!
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

What the literal hell is this about? I thought it was a joke or an onion story. My first thought was that old COPS video where the uniformed officer has a rendezvous with a prostitute and gets caught in a sting and is filmed doing it.

                          NO THANKS

                            Sounds like an Onion article.
