I'm new to a striker off duty pistol and usually carry appendix IWB. I'm a little apprehensive since the muzzle is pointed near my junk and femoral. Any advice from guys that are experienced with appendix carry with a striker?

I appendix carried a G26 in a kydex holster for many years and now a G19. I don't even worry about it.Comment

I carry a G29 with a Raven Vanguard 2 holster. It's not pointing at your junk any more than carrying at the 6' is pointing at your *** cheeks/ tib/fib.
Just be happy your not fat and can
*Edit. The best feature about the Vanguard 2 and why I chose it, is once you draw your weapon...you HAVE/SHALL/MUST attach the trigger guard on the weapon outside of your person. Then attach to gun belt. No possible way of AD when you position for appendix. Or any other carry method.Last edited by DevilDawgJJ; 08-27-2020, 8:12 PM.Originally posted by Citadelgrad87I pity your kids, because they are doomed.Originally posted by FLIGHT762Can I bring my Donkey? I appendix carry an HK P7M13 and Walther P99AS. While not conventional striker guns like a Glock, just be sure you clear your garment and holster and holster slowly. There shouldn’t be any real reason to rush to reholster.

I have carried a variety of my CCW pistols appendix and have never warmed to it for the reasons mentioned by the OP.
That said, a large group of CG'ers carry in this fashion.
As long as you use a holster with reasonable trigger protection and you have good trigger discipline, appendix carry is clearly doable.
For driving, I always remove/relocate my pistol/holster from the appendix to 9:00 or 3-4:00.
As others have said, it is clearly a more viable carry option for those with slender builds.
I find little justification for appendix carry in my world.
As with all carry, common sense and great care when handling a loaded weapon is wise and necessary regardless of the method of carry...Real Californian...Comment

I only carry my p320 appendix. It's much easier to conceal as a skinny guy... Plus why would you not want your handgun in your complete control on front of you?Comment
