    Internet data removal

Does anyone have experience or reviews of internet info removal services? They could be LEO specific such as: LEO Web Protect, Privacy For Cops, etc or broader audiences like Deleteme.

As far as I know they cannot delete the data only bury it further in the search and cache indexes so that it does not come up as easily.

So everytime you sign up for a warranty, subscribe to a magazine, join a membership club for discounts, all those “free” services are free because they sell your info to places like LexusNexis where you would be searchable through whatever system you use. Thus, even if you remove your name, you’ll have to rerequest the removal if you do any of the aforementioned things.

I personally use policeprivacy.com, and have it set up so they resend all the takedowns annually

Also, if you haven’t already, scrub your home’s picture from google maps and bing maps so it’s not visible through street view

Privacyforcops.org. There is an annual fee for the service but they are on top of there game and if you come across anything they may have missed just email them the link. Not sure if they are only CA or have expanded their services outside the state yet. I have used them for The past 5 years and Have no complaints.

Another vote for PrivacyForCops. Been using them for a while. No complaints and easy to use and monitor.

I use delete me, the job pays for it. I still find my name occasionally so I'll be looking into privacyforcops.org.
