4th of July and Blue Flu

I was chatting with a family member.. and just like Huggy Bear- they heard the word on the street is that everyone needs to stay home on the 4th of July as the Police are all going to fall in sick and let society fend for itself.

This family member is over 70 and I don’t think they know anyone who still is an active LEO

Do your friends and family call you with items like this?

Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Do people still know who Huggy Bear was? lol As the years go on, less and less of our students get our old humorous references...

There are some or LEO rallies in our area, no blu flu planned. I heard the same rumor from a senile citizen coworker. He claimed there would be no LAPD or LA Sheriff’s. I’ve spoken to several members of each agency, there are no sick outs planned at all, not even talk of it.

I highly doubt that you will hear anything about a "BlueFlu" or Sickout.
Considering those (Strike-type) actions are considered illegal.
If anything it's being spread word of mouth.

I'm sure in some locations where the officers of agencies effected by all the calls of disbanding and abolishing the police there maybe whispered talk of such action by the officers.

But no one is going to put it out via texting or messaging. Because your career is over if your caught.

Also it could be intentional disinformation to create problems where no problems exists.

How true. Unfortunately, too many of them are quasi-educated morons who fail to "get" much of anything. That's what makes them the perfect "useful idiots" for destroying monuments and national history.

I've seen several posts around the interwebs, specifically regarding my agency, saying "a friend heard" my agency was going BluFlu on July 4th. I think someone forgot to tell me and my coworkers though.

Me & the missus had planned on staying home, and observing a quiet 4th.
