    LEO Discounts Thread

The Oakley thread got me thinking it be cool to have a thread where we could share some of the discounts available to LEO's.

So we know Oakley at Usstandardissue.com is one.

I'll add Verizon who gives 20%- 25% (forget which) off your monthly bill plus purchases. Just take your LEO ID to a Verizon store and they will add a permanent discount to your future bills. After it's entered, Verizon employees who pull up your account only see "vip discount". It's given to other occupations/organizations so they don't positively know that you are a cop.

Surefire gives a pretty big discount if you order over the phone. Just call the customer service number on their website.

I ended up loosing a cell phone while on duty and they didn't cut me any slack on the purchase of a new one? Who do you have to talk too?

Some of the Sports Authority stores offer

                10% LEO discount.

And I know of a few Gunshops that give anywhere from 10-15% LEO discount as well.

If I go to one I've never been to I just ask the mgr. if they honor it. San Francisco store honors it and a couple of other bay area stores as well.

Obviously, it's not something that's posted but I've been fortunate to have rec'd it a few times for all kinds of gear.
