It looks like Samsung is offering free screen repairs for first responders. They are also offering a 30% discount on new products as well.

Good luck. We had a Samsung tv go out during the warranty period and it was a nightmare. Won't buy from Samsung again.

I tried this and failed. Made an appt online per the above link. Drove 50 miles to repair location in Sacramento for my 10am appt. Employee says Samsung is getting 6,000 to 8,000 such repair requests daily, and current wait time for approval is at least a full day or more. That's fine for locals, but I'm not gonna wait 1-2 days and then drive another 100 miles to pick it up.

Thx RB - one of my partners has a Note 9 with a trashed screen that he's been living with forever!

ETA - I bought a new Samsung SSD from them for a laptop yesterday and found out that the discount is "up to 30%". Dropped the price from $180 to $161... Saved tax I guess...
