UTM offering free online LE certification

I am not an agent for UTM, but this looks like a pretty cool opportunity.

UTM is offering our Online Law Enforcement Certification, normally $199 per person at NO CHARGE for a limited time in an effort to support ongoing training during this period of social distancing. Additionally, we will offer a link to our FREE online demo as well for an overview our entire UTM product line.

Get your UTM certification at no charge using the promo code (UTM2020POLICE) by clicking here. You will need to use your agency email to sign up or will have to supply sworn LE credentials.

I can tell you from personal experience that you need to run Chrome if you are on a Mac. The videos don't work in Safari for me.

Being both GD Simunitions and UTM certified, I use UTM for training at home Force on Target, but only Simunitions for Force on Force.

Simunitions school is 3 days...UTM's on line class ("UTM/NRA certification") was about an hour when they introduced it in 2017.

I'm running into the same problem as teeemothy. I got my login from UTM and when I try to start the course, it makes me register again.

They just emailed me to say that the class has now been added to my profile. I logged on and sure enough, I'm now enrolled. Finished half the class this afternoon, going to finish the rest of it tomorrow.

I completed the UTM course last week and had encountered the same problem. After registering, I too thought it was broken but then I realized that it takes a while for the system to validate your account. I logged in the next day and the course was available to me.

UTM = Ultimate Training Muntions and the course covers the company's various training ammo products, specifications for each, safety considerations, and ideas for how to incorporate their products into your agency's training program. It says that, on completion, you become "certified" to use their products as a training instructor or something like that.
