Best wishes for everyone.
I missed Thanksgiving dinner a few times. One time, I arrested a man for 4 counts of felony, spending the whole Thanksgiving day into the night. I missed my family Thanksgiving dinner, only to find on following Monday that the DA rejected to file the case, because "she" refused to testify and "she" still loves him. -
Happy thanksgiving, all! Stay safe out there and make sure you go get your Thanksgiving meal/reimbursement if your agency offers it!Comment

Happy Turkey Day and weekend everyone!Comment

We do the turkey at home early then every year we do warrant services at night.
Sure the holiday + overtime pay is nice, but taking criminals to jail at the dinner table has made some wonderful memories throughout my career.Comment

Always had civilians or businesses bring us turkey dinner at the station. It was a nice gesture. Also l
liked to eat turkey dinner for lunch at Clifton's Cafeteria on Broadway in downtown LA. Good times, but retirement is way better!Comment
