Question re Blauer Clash LT boots

Question re Blauer Clash LT boots Has anyone tried these boots? If so, what are the pros and cons? Any negative experiences? I've had back surgery so the tie-up mechanism looks like the answer to a prayer.

Ya I have to 2nd that the quality of Blauer boots is crap. For general hiking/tactical shoes/boots Salomon is a badass brand and I highly recommend you try a pair. Thats all I buy now. I had some issues and injuries to the bottoms of my feet as a result of wear shoes with soles that were too soft. Salomon is the best blend of a EDC "shoe" and a boot. I live in the mountains so I am walking on dirt/rocks a lot more than people in the city.

        Hope that helps.

Had some 5.11s (can’t remember which) and they were ehh. Had the Nike SFB and they’re ok; they sit in the back of the truck now as an extra pair. Had the UA Jungle Rats which were very comfortable. Was going to get the UA Valsetz until I decided I wanted a slightly more durable boot which is why I went with the Salomon XA Forces GTX. They’re awesome. They’re goretex which has been great walking through puddles, mud, or whatever and I just spray them off. They’ve been very durable and probably all I will get for a while.

If you need a polishable boot, I believe they have the Urban Jungles. I just can’t comment on them since I’ve never had them. I believe Merrell also makes a polishable duty boot.
