CA Cops & Red Flag Law

It's likely that we'll be plagued with a federal red flag (unconstitutional gun confiscation) law:

Red flag laws are gun confiscation law presented as social protection. Red flag laws accords legitimacy to gun confiscation.

CA has a red flag law. The list of informants who have anonymity will expand. Eventually, everyone will have ability to report any gun owner, including cops, as a threat to public safety:

As it is now in CA, an ex-wife of a cop can become an anonymous informant to the LE agency of the jurisdiction in which her ex-husband lives, claim he is a danger to her or public safety, and cops will arrive at his home and confiscate his guns to include his duty weapon.

I'm long retired. Hence, I do not know of LE agencies' policies in complying with CA's red flag law when the target is another cop. What are your agencies' policies when it come to confiscating guns from other cops under CA red flag law that does not grant due process prior to confiscation?

What is the predicable outcome when neighbors can become anonymous red flag informants? How about gun-hating, cop-hating neighbors? Will CA cops be forced to confiscate guns of other cops w/o due process based upon an anonymous informant who's motivated by his hatred of guns and cops and feels "threatened" by the mere fact his neighbor is a cop and owns guns including his duty weapon?

Red flag laws are really excuses for gun confiscation. They're packaged and sold as public safety ruses. They're really basis for gun confiscation, and cops will not be immune from red flag laws.
