OP, you are not providing enough information to begin answer your question. It lacks sufficient data/details. But.....
If you are purchasing ammo out of state using an online vendor who ships direct to you because you are a FFL/03 with a COE, then no. That does not allow you to purchase SCMs. You missed out on freedom week or the million mag march.

If you are LEO, I would not know.

It's not a firearm, and if the OP is exempt there's no legal reason it can't be shipped to him directly.
I'm assuming OP is a cop based on his username.


But to be clear, no, the 03/COE does not provide an exemption for LCMs.

Lots of online retailers. I've used gunmagwarehouse before. They just want a copy of your LEO creds. Ships right to your door.

It has been awhile since I looked into it. That said, its the same process as ammo. They need a copy of your credentials on file. They will ship them to your house. Most of the time you will need to be there to receive and sign for delivery.
That’s only the ones willing to participate. Most wont.

Brownells, Lanbos Armory and DSG Arms will ship to LEO in CA. Just have to email or fax copy of credentials. Shipped right to you door, no signature required. Unless you request for it.
