    Challenge coins

    Hey gurus of Calguns,

I am looking for someone you guys would recommend for challenge coins. I am in the academy and we are looking to get some done as a class. Our class will also be giving these to our RTO's. I would need atleast 50 or more. Thanks again guys in advance.

Before I forget also some one you guys could recommend to have some patches made.

    Thanks!

You already have art work done?
Price depends on many different things as well as quantity of order.
Number of colors, type of coin, same logo or design on both sides, different artwork on each side.
Price per coin didn't seem to become affordable to me under 1,000 coins.
Interested in seeing what this post turns up.

Art work is already done. For now the same design will be on both sides. Some other ideas were floating around about challenge coins in the form of a bottle opener. That seems super cheesy to me, especially because I don't drink. If I had to take a guess there would be 75coins max.

I just typed in Challenge coins on net.
First place that popped up was a veteran owned business.
I have no affiliation with them.
Some pricing listed for single and double sided.
minimum order shown was for 50 next increment was 100.
at 100 it shows around $8 each. $800 is an approx. out of pocket for 75 coins

Custom military and law enforcement challenge coins and poker chips. We manufacture our ceramic and metal challenge coins right here in the USA!

I think the bottle opener coin would probably be cheesy and maybe not the right tone for a cadet class to set. YMMV

You need to be a "special" class of cadet to use the bottle opener status. See E.O.D.

I bought this on the Calguns store a few years back. I haven’t hide nor hair of the store in quite some time though. Maybe he might have some insight into your question.

The cost of the initial die is usually prohibitive for fewer than 500 coins.

in the past have used aviatorgear.com for all kinds of stuff, they obviously cater mostly to USAF, but challenge coins are challenge coins. I have several they made, and all are good quality. I didn't do the initial order, only received them later, so can't say their end cost, their website says "$3 and up". They also do matching patches and zaps (stickers), so you can get all in one stop.

I have wondered about these coins. What are they for? Do you just show each other? Do you give it to the other person?
