The jury on Aug. 15 ruled that Acosta was stabbed by Sonny Lam with a pair of scissors before the first shot.

But after Acosta fired the first shot, jurors found that Acosta retreated and used unreasonable force in the second shot because Sonny Lam didn’t grab Acosta’s gun and didn’t approach Acosta with the scissors.

The second shot? I'm surprised anyone could have determined there was more than one, besides the separate wound channels.

Unfortunately, it would seem every time a criminal is shot by a cop the criminal's family crawls out of the sewer to file a law suit.

Cops need to find attorneys that’s are willing to sue a suspect that’s ADW’d a P.O. Sue the suspect for whatever he owns, be it money, car, House, dog, shopping cart, etc...
