Not exempt no mail order. About the only thing being retired gets you is an exemption from having an FSC, and an exemption to LCM's if you had them here before 2000.

Forgot about that. Probably because the range I had to use to qualify at closed for a year, and I missed the last retiree qual before closing by a week.

did your agency give you a retired i.d. card that conforms with LEOSA?? If so, it does not matter if your last qual. was over a year ago. It only matters that you have a qual. that is within the last 12 months.!!!

anyway,,,,anyone have any insight on ammo purchases for retired LEO's from out of state?
I am glad I am retired. 20% of any department does 80% of the work. So I know that school deputy was part of the 80% who just shows up for a nice paycheck.

My department stopped given retirees duty ammunition annually. I just go to Walmart and buy whatever JHP they have.

My department says I have to as a retiree qualify each CY. So I can qual on 1/1/2018 and I have to do the next one by 12/31/2019.
