Well wishes for a speedy recovery! TKRs are tough, but I usually hear fairly good results of improved quality of life with active inidividuals and participants in their health rather than the ones that don’t.

        Get better!

If you are in a bad mood while recovering maybe you can fire off some nasty emails to Broward County on behalf of those of us who wear our badges with honor and pride.

Good luck Retired, I have assisted with two friends knee replacements over the years and can attest to the reality that it will get better over time. The newer surgeries are far better than a year ago, and the way medical is improving, 3 years is like a decade or more.

I have no advice aside from take naps during the day as the likelihood of sleeping through the night is pretty low the first couple of weeks.

Might be a good time to pull the pistols out, pop up youtube and strip detail them all. You would be surprised how dirty a clean gun can be, especially in those striker channels!

Best wishes retired! Full and speedy recovery!

Glad we got to hang out a bit at SSZS last year before you got laid out for this.

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

My wife needs the same surgery. It's bone on bone for her left knee. My wife is a WC claims examiner, so she knows what's ahead of her, but it's getting to the point that she just wants the stiffness and pain to go away.

She refers a lot of people to Kerlan-Jobe, so rest assured you had some of the best. She's treating at SCOI (Southern CA Orthopedic Institute), which is also excellent.

PM me if you have any WC questions or concerns. I'll be happy to ask the Missus.
