There are many cops around my age (28) who have walked a similar journey as I have. From watching 9/11 in a classroom to joining the military and deploying overseas to joining the police force and dealing with unruly protests and blatant disrespect for any type of authority. I have personally seen how differently I am treated when wearing each uniform, even though I swore the same oath to defend our constitution. This unaired commercial is a very accurate depiction of a timeline similar to mine and I know others have walked a similar path of events as well. Too bad they pulled it from the Super Bowl.
