How many times must "we" be killed stopped on the side of the highway? Always makes me feel relieved when I see a CHP car parked behind a barrier, bridge abutment or guard rail of some type on the freeway. This tragedy was both senseless and heartbreaking. Not blaming our brave CHP officers, just commenting on how we haven't learned from others sacrifices, again. Sick to my stomach over this, again. It is well know that drunk drivers fixate on the reflectors and parking lights of stopped vehicles.
