FN announced that it has ended or will end in the very near future all new production of the HP. It’s the end of an era.

I have my 1970's production FN that came to me with a beautiful bluing in the late 80's. Not wanting to fight the finger prints and rust I had it parkerized and Millet adjustable sights installed. Carried it for 2 years before going to a 1911. I wish to hell I'd left it blue!

FN did renew its high power on the roster. Browning did also.
So if you do find one at an FFL it still can be purchased as an on roster gun.
        In or out of Ca.
Of course, if you are exempt the roster doesn't matter.
Lots of high powers on gun broker.
