I got stopped for doing 162MPH once and was threatened with jail but got left with a warning in exchange for a favor. I got lucky.Visit my Channel "Steel On Target" on YouTube and subscribe. I post gun videos reg regularly.

I'm guilty of this myself...not bragging, just stating a fact of idiocy on my part.
About 10 years ago or so, I was clocked going 102 MPH around 3 or 4 AM on 5 N. Not too far where the cattles and stench reside, the following happened:
Issued a ticket and got back on the road.
Knowing my license would be suspended, I went to court. Paid the fine and requested permission of being able to drive myself to work and back home. My request was granted.
The suspension lasted 30 days.
I had Geico at the time and they dropped my coverage a few weeks later.
Insurance rate went up.
The officer cited me, "Exceeding 100 mph" and I don't recall the vehicle code number. I think he could've made my day worse by impounding my car and told me to kick rocks on finding a way home. I was respectful the entire time and he was done within 10 minutes.
I'm covered by Geico again. I'm older and wiser and drive like an oldie. If I'm late (whether by my actions or mother nature) to get somewhere, then I'll be late. Not worth going through that again.
