Remembering Deputy Jake

August 31, 2001, my friend LASD Deputy Jake Kuredjian was killed while assisting the ATF serve a warrant in Santa Clarita.

Jake was a great representative of what an LEO should be and a good man.

I have no one else to remember Jake with any longer, so I thought I'd remember him here.

One of the posts called him the "ultimate village cop" and that was Jake. Many posts were from citizens, like me, that respected the hell out of that man.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jake when I worked at magic mountain he would pick up extra overtime shifts. He was a great guy always joking and very helpful

I did not know Jake professionally but through Firepolicemx.com. He was super easy going on race day though a fierce and fair competitor. When he won medals, which was every event he attended and the announcer stumbled with his last name he would say "just Jake" with that smile I'm sure many of you will never forget.
