How do you prepare for Riverside Sheriff tests?

I took the assessment and failed. I know it's hard and I would love to be a LEO, wanted to be since I was young but atm, which direction I should go to better myself for the next time I test in three months.

On side note if I've taken the RSD test, could I possibly apply to CHP?

Calisthenics and cardio is typically the best bet for any agency. Get better at running (you do a lot in the academy), push ups, pull ups, planks, and even sit ups (even though they're generally pretty useless).

Also the testing begins at a young age. Job history, credit scores, social media crap (don't do social media), physical aptitude, criminal history, drug usage, traffic tickets. Stay squeaky clean in all of the above and you're hired.

Academies and PD/SO Departments are focusing on a crossfit style regiment now in my area. As others have said, focus on calisthentics, cardio, and plyometric workouts (Running, pushups, situps, squads, lungs...)

As far as written test goes, read books to expand your vocabulary as most of the test is focused on writting ability, reading ability, and reasoning. It will test your grammer, punctuation, and your ability to understand and pick synonyms of other words.

So in summary, workout and complete "Hooked on phonics."
