    Seat belt

Good Evening, is a seat belt ticket considered a moving violation? I started my renewal process with my county, I checked the box that indicates nothing has changed in the last 2 years and I have had no moving violations. Then it dawned on me I got a seat belt ticket about a year and a half ago. Sooooo, do I need to revise my paperwork?

Seatbelt is not a moving violation. Pay the fine and you're go to go

The only way a seatbelt violation will get you in trouble is if you get 3 violations in one year. Then it turns into a mover.

I always print out a 10 year DMV and just report everything that is on it whenever I need to disclose my driving record.
