LE Dudes! Got a we little question

It says these guns are for a LE Contract

    No Safety
    Allways in Fire Mode
    With a hair trigger

That is not normal is it?

It's all hype.. all G models are decocker models. The Safety only decocks the gun you cannot leave the safety on. This model sounds like it's had some work done on it. So the trigger pulls might feel differently. Double Action will always feel the same the Single Action part may feel lighter hence the "hair" trigger.
Nothing special. Just a Wilson Combat rework.

Wow, thats pretty crazy. Having a gun with no safety when a round is chambered. Im glad glocks and many other other striker fired pistols have all those external safeties. Lol. Just kidding

There are many firearms carried by law enforcement that do not have external safeties. This appears to be a decocker version of the beretta that is left over from a cancelled contract. Nothing out of the ordinary. Number one safety is always your finger. Each department has its own policies and as you glock likes to remind everyone, what is the number one law enforcement handgun in current use, the glock. No external safety or decocker. Have a great day.

The only contract is the purchase contract by this dealer... if you read the description carefully, you'll see it actually doesn't say it's an LE contract... way over hyped. Decent gun though.

          Overpriced special run...

Never carried or issued to a LEO that I know of.

And yes, although I am not a huge 92 fan, I would like one just for S's and G's...

these contract units have NO external safeties; they are double action first round single action subsequent. Experts favor this version for duty or “condition 2” carry: in the holster pistol is decocked and always ready for use–the first round is double-action, while the subsequent shots are single-action. Upon reholstering, simply activate the decocking lever and the pistol is again ready for quick use when you need it.

No biggy with the trigger as your hammer is down, you must DA pull then you set to SA.

What. Blasphemy! How can you not be......Oh wait a sec.....yeah, the user name.

I was issued a 92F in Jan. of 1990. I had never shot a semi before, just my duty revolver and off duty ones. Ended up having the highest score in my class and tho I'm a decent shooter, the gun itself is very accurate. It was also perfect for my large hand. The gun just felt balanced. I bought it when I retired 13yrs. later and still shoot it when I go to the range. I've never had one problem with the gun while shooting it and it is still as accurate. I just wish I was.

The only problem I have had occurred when the dept. did a mod to the disassembly lever. Too many years have passed and I can't recall whether actual cases had occurred or there was thinking it could occur. In any case, they shaved the disassembly lever down in an attempt to prevent a bad guy from possibly grabbing the slide, moving the lever down and removing the slide, barrel, etc. from the frame. Since that dept. fix, it is a bit difficult to move it to the position necessary to remove the slide assembly for cleaning. I can live with that.

And yes, GlockN'Roll, I'd like one for S's and G's also. With all of the mods, I would surmise it would be more accurate than my stock 92F.

It would be fun to shoot one of those and compare it to a "regular" 92-Series; I hate reading gun ads like that though... bunch of hoopla that took me 3min to read instead of a quick 20sec factual summary..

And I had this little vision of Tackleberry makin Chief somewhere. Or it could of been Gecko45 finally getting the funding for his uber ninja security force.

I feel like it's cheaper to buy a 92 and send it to Wilson Combat for the G conversion and full action/trigger job.

Rocke Guns is a known scammer. He does great refinishing work, but his ads are mostly lies. There are a lot of threads about him over on the Beretta Forum. He was selling an "overrun" of special contract M9's some time ago. You could see from the SN numbers on some of the guns that they were actually commercial/civilian market M9 pistols, and a couple were even Italian made 92 FS's. He pretties up guns and tries to pass them off as something they are not. He has done this with Glock's and Sig's as well. Better to stay away.
