    Stolen Guns and gear

Two days ago they kicked my front window in at the house in the front yard at 1100 in the morning. I had just finished building an ar15 so it was propped up against the wall in my room. They stole that. On the way out of my room they grabbed my work gear with everything on it.

Sam brown with 3 mags glock 19 qls safariland setup. Hk benchmade knife. radio two sets of cuffs. Trauma tourniquet surefire g2le flashlight and holder.

    They stole three more guns totaling 5. 2 ar's a glock 19 gen 4 a 5 shot 642 and a mossberg shotgun.

I'm not looking for a lecture beacause I'm sure we all have a gun or two laying around. Be careful and just giving you guys a heads up that 5 stolen guns hit the street. If your interested in location PM me.

File numbers been issued and all firearms entered into AFIS.

No one and I mean no one enters the house. Everyone says it's an inside job but I assure you no one knows about the layout let alone what's in closet #1 or closet #2 etc. I think it was a random hit because no one was home and they scored.

**** that sucks... sorry to hear you got done like that. No judgement on my end. When I was 21 I had a locked up 1911 stolen from my locked truck on a brief stop over at a friends house.

Its been 12 years and I still have never heard a word about it. When it crosses my mind the only thing I can hope is that it never ends up getting anyone hurt. I hope they are recovered quickly and safely.
Semper Fi and long live the Hornady red monster!

Sent from my ship of right, while I float by all of you swimming in the sea of wrong.

Was the whole place ransacked or did they go straight for guns?

I don't have 5 guns just sitting around. Hopefully lesson learned.

Terrible! Sorry to hear that. No judgment here.

Did you have any firearms/pro 2A related stickers on your vehicle?

You probably don't have a roommate either who does the same job you do.

Damn that sux. Hopefully no one tries to lecture you. Its a hard spot to be in to be forced to lock everything in a safe. It makes it almost impossible to protect yourself when you have to try your safe combination before the bad guys reach you.

Its a sad day when people start blaming victims instead of looking to our politicians who should be keeping this a-holes in a jail cell instead of out on the street taking your ****. Victim blaming is a whole different kind of morale wrong in my book.

If you are anywhere in southern california please PM me with the details. I have many contacts I can spread the word to, including the feds (we are still able to communicate with them).

No judgement- except on the GD thieves..

Hang the bastards after a fair trial.

I don't like the Prog/Commie leftist U/I idea- that if a GD thief breaks into your house and robs you- you are at fault- If the GD sumvitch's steal your car and run over someone- are you at fault?

                    Hell no! you are not.

Very sorry to hear this OP- I hope they find them, try them and hang them, and you get your things back.

I could not possibly agree with you more CinnamonBear, the double standard is real. I keep everything but my defense locked up and that is in a quick release 1 gun safe.... which could just be picked up and walked off with, and then later broken into with ease.

I've always been scared of this happening.. Does the doj or any other agency give you flak for this, or stop from purchasing more firearms after a theft?

That's one of the things that bother me. I have layers of security. Alarms, reinforced thresholds on the doors, a dog, lights etc. BUT we all have windows.

I have some of that 3M film on some of my windows but I am not reassured by that because sometimes I think it will only make the window fall into the house in one big piece instead of thousands of tiny bits. Even if the glass sets off the alarm, it won't stop a dash and grab. I can't put bars on the window in a suburban HOA, so we just end up hoping the dash and grabber wants the next house more than ours

It's no different than blaming a rape victim for wearing too short of a skirt and saying it's her fault because the rapist just couldn't help himself. Evil way to go thru life blaming victims.

Heres a little trick I came up with (that I will be using eventually. choose a bedroom (assuming you have a spare room) reinforce the door with a solid door and a deadbolt put an interior curtain on the ID (inner dimension of the window) and then build an interior bar system to go on the inside of the curtain, bolt it directly to the studs.

turn that room into gun room.

Cant be seen by outsiders (so HOA wont be any the wiser) and will still slow down an intruder a lot.

Personally hell will freeze over before I willingly live in an HOA but we all have our preferences.
