I just thought some of our Veteran or retired county brothers from LASD might enjoy the below link on the Chevy Nova. Gun related because of the shotgun in the rack.

Never knew the man, but heard about him enough times back in the academy days. The infamous shot gun rack of the Nova radio car which was defeated by a duster. RIP Kenny and the Nova.....

Cut my teeth in a 77 and 78 Nova when I first went to patrol. Brings back a lot of great memories.
Lt. Bob Killeen worked for me as a deputy when I was a patrol sergeant at Lakewood Station in the early 90's. Outstanding Deputy!LASD Retired

This was my 2nd Patrol Veh. Ply Fury 440 with the Air Cleaner flipped over. I liked the Nova.
As for Kenny, High School Classmate. Three of us from our graduating class went on to become LEO's. He was a great friend.Comment
