The fact that you posted the picture and expressed your feelings is a tribute to a man that raised his son right. I'm sure he was as proud of you as you are of him. I'm sorry for your loss. My dad died many years ago. We all grieve in different ways. One thing I did was made a shadow box from his 31 year army career. It hangs just inside my front door, when I walk in, I see it and remember him.

That's a great photo. My dad and grandpa were both reserve officers, and were my inspiration for going into Law Enforcement. Between LASD and Glendora PD, I wore a badge for 33 years.

I lost my dad 32 years ago, and it still seems like yesterday. It will get easier, if you remember and cherish the good times. Hang in there, brother.
