    Level IV Body Armor

When purchasing new Body Armor in IV Who do You Purchase from at a Reasonable Price. I've seen Single IV Plates from 170.00 to 300.00.
Anyone here complete a purchase that made out on a Quality Deal.
I'm looking for 11x14 IV Platest with a shooters cut, however the information from each site I visit becomes to much when comparing Manufacturers.
Each states the same Ballistics, However Pricing is so Different.
Any Deals or Recommendations found on Level IV would be Appreciated.

I haven't looked in a while now, but while it's weird looking site, there's a lot of good information on bulletproofme.

      Lighter armor = ^ $.

I have these Paraclete Level IVs in my active shooter kit. I bought them on sale at $170. I haven't been shot yet so....I assume they work. Lighter would be nicer, but light comes at a steep price. So I went cheap.

I bought from this company, great reviews and some amazing testing videos on youtube. I went with 4SAS7, I liked ceramic over steel. Not that steel is bad. I just felt ceramic was a better fit for me. They also sale steel tho... but I would go with ar500's 550 plates if I went steel. Whatever you get, buy a GOOD plate carrier, it makes all the difference! At the time I did my research no independent certification was being given for .223/5.56. Level IV stops 30-06, but that doesn't mean it will stop 5.56... Take the plates manufactures claim of 5.56 "certification" as a grain of salt, research YouTube/forums to back up the claims...

bulletproofme.com is a very good site. The customer service has been outstanding through multiple purchases.

As for what armor material, coated steel if you are going to abuse it (bang it around, drop on ground, toss in trunk,...). Otherwise a multi-hit ceramic.

The polymer stuff is very interesting but it is NOT rated against some very common ammo.

Find products on the RMA store ranging from body armor to plates to kits that are just right for your needs.

They offer LEO discounts as well, just have to email them for the code... lightest, strongest stuff I've seen.

I purchased mine from The Best Bulletproof Vest website. IMO, can't go wrong with those. I believe their latest discount code is "iProtect(25)"

Can you remove the plates from the carrier and did it come with two plates? There does not seem to be a contact page for them to answer these questions.

Guys check us out www.mountaincreekarmory.com. We are full time law enforcement and own and operate this business on the side. We have some of the best pricing on armor and carriers. We carry Highcom plates, Velocity systems armor and carriers, Shellback Tactical and many more high end brands. We don't sell any low end gear and stand behind everything we sell 100% as we use it ourselves in patrol. PM or email with any questions.

Quick note: The law enforcement discounted pricing will not show up until you create and account and get it verified. Much like DSG's website. Simply send us an email from your dept email or a photo of your work ID and well get you taken care of.
