    Alameda County SO LODD

    Deputy Michael Foley succumbed to his injuries after he was struck by a jail bus. Been a tough week. RIP Sir. http://abc7news.com/news/alameda-cou...ident/1770408/

          Heard he was a very very nice and well liked guy. Also heard the other Deputy who was driving is also a very very nice and well liked guy. Truly a terrible situation and loss for the ACSO and their families. RIP Deputy Foley.

                    I was a cadet with Concord PD in 1975. In 76 Mike was hired as a cadet also. He was a real nice easy going guy. He stayed that way his entire career. He stayed with CPD, I went to another agency. We were friends for over 40 years. He will be missed. What a terrible way to go.

                    Mike was the third friend since December to pass. The other two were members of the SO with me. Not starting out to be a banner year.

                          Sorry for your loss, Brother. It's never easy, and something you never get used to. May he Rest In Peace and the Angels welcome him home with open arms.
