LE gun storage at LAX

Morning All,

Does anyone know if LAX has a weapons storage location/program for visiting LEOs?

I am flying in to LAX and need to store my weapon safely a couple nights (long story - can't take it with me for a few days).

Otherwise I have to leave it at home (it's just not smart to fly unarmed if you are authorized).

If so, do you have a contact?

If you are federal LE? Then I suppose the local office of your agency may be able to help you out.

If you are not a federal LE, I'm not sure how you are flying armed if you are going on vacation. Unless you mean gun in checked bag.

Regardless, airport police should be able to help you out.

If you're flying within the 50 states, why don't you bring your gun in checked luggage, unloaded in a locked box? It's done all the time legally.

He may be planning on visiting Mexico for a few days..
There is no provision for you to bring in a weapon into Mexico hence his asking about storing it at LAX..
