I'm looking for advice. I'm heading to Fresno next week to interview for Parole Agent 1. Any advice for me? I want to become a Parole Agent so badly! I'd appreciate any advice in prepping for the interview. Thanks so much!

Paroles is very competitive, a lot of them come from sgts at backgrounds and a lot of it is who you know. Considering who actually qualifies for parole anymore I wish you the best of luck, and when one of them murders or rapes another victim here comes CDCR to audit every log you have because after all if you had seen little johnny just 30 minutes ago he wouldn't have done this so now it's your fault.

They usually hire from within i believe. Become a CO and promote your way up.
