    Dutch Shepherd

Does anyone here in the LEO community have a good contact for a dutch shepherd breeder. I'm not looking for a bite dog, but rather a shepherd I can work with for agility and tracking purposes.

Have you checked out the dogs at Adlerhorst?

These are great dogs, faithful and highly intelligent. My Lenny is a Dutchie.

On Facebook is a group called, Dutch Shepherd Dog Club of America. There are lots of good breeders who post there. It would be a good place to start.

      Good luck!

CBR Rider, Yes I tried with them. No luck. It seems most of the Ductchie's are a mid west to east coast dog. Very few breeders are out here on the west coast.
Thanks for the heads up on the Facebook info Kokopelli

I bought a Dutchie from Matt Best at K9 instincts out of Rhode Island. By far the best and most intelligent dog I've ever owned. I check with some of my breeder friends and see if anyone has any or is expecting some. Also check out www.LeftcoastK9.com my friend Nate breeds some really nice dog out of Dutch lines. Or you can get a dog directly from the motherland, get a hold of Hans Pegge of Pegge police dogs, if you have FB look at his page. He'll ship pups to the US. That's probably where I'll get my next dog out of.
