RIP Officer Jonathan "JD" Deguzman. Prayers out to his wife and 2 kids. Their lives have just dramatically changed in an instant.

Media is trying make this so commonplace that people become desensitized to cops getting shot and killed. Unless it's 3 or 4 at a time it doesn't rate much anymore. Sad sad times.

I personally knew JD for 15 years and worked with him on the same squad for close to 5. He was an honest and respectable man, officer, friend, father and husband. His loss is felt and will be for a long time.
