I doubt the NYSD operates the same as here, but is there a way to talk to a Deputy without alerting his department of an issue?
I do not want to get this Deputy in any trouble, but I would like to hear his side of the story.
My 28 year old son was pulled over for taking too long changing lanes.
My son was a 4.0 student, AA in Criminal Justice (which is part of the problem here I think) an AA in business currently working on his BA while managing a restaurant.
He fully admits to mouthing off and raising his hand at the Deputy as a way to blow him off...the "I'm not listening to you" wave. That is where the learning curve started.
He slammed his head into the hood of his truck twice, once causing a bloody nose the other a small shinner under his left eye.
3 Deputies on scene, ran checks on my son and the two girls with him. Then let them go.
Small town SD know people. If my son is running with the wrong people and that prompted the stop with associated "learning", I want to know....or should I just stay out of it.
Son doesnt want to push it at all.
Thank you for any input
