    To ALL LEOs working.

Be careful. Most of us appreciate what you do and back you up. Unfortunately the crazies are getting crazier and nobody in authority seems to care.

I feel bad that I retired. I left all my brother out there in danger. A lot of bad things happened to police since I retired in January.

Retired but unless I get a "code 4" wave-off I try and always stop (way back)for single unit car stops.

All officers, active and retired need to be extra aware of their surroundings. Just because your retired doesn't mean you won't be excluded from a idiot with a vendetta.

Wearing patches, jackets or head gear with police emblems are iffy in todays world.

Thank you. It truly means a lot and there have been some non-sworn staff that have expressed the same gratitude and appreciation.

For the fellow retirees, don't feel bad. You didn't leave us. We're doing our best to carry on your tradition and keep this thing together. We can all hope to be in your shoes down the road.

I feel the same Micro. I still have a lot of friends that are working and I worry about them everyday. Inside I still feel like I could and should be out there holding the line with them. The Doctors and my body tell me different.
