    SD County Sherrif - Duty / Academy Handgun

    I have a close relative starting the San Diego County Sheriff Dept academy in May. 2 questions:

    1. What is the standard handgun used in training for the academy?
    2. What is the standard or optional handgun(s) issued for duty?
