Oh, I'm quite sure I'm safe. I'm concerned he might do something stupid and I'd get backlash in my professional life. Never mind the pain he'd cause our family and the family of who he beats up.

If he runs into use of force issues whether it be on an autistic person or not; problem solved.

If he does something stupid and it doesn't involve you, how would that affect your professional life?

OP...your story makes zero sense. There's something you're not telling.

I don't want to be known as "that guy related to that bad cop". It would scare off potential clients.

How did he go about "letting it be known" that he doesn't like autistic people?

              Self diagnosed?
              It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

You are concerned that you have a family member who goes around beating people up under the guise of authority?
Who else in your family have you spoken with?
Why on Earth are you asking us?

Here's news for you; you already are.

If he's so open about it, then it's already out there.

                    Is this really a thread?

I give up. And, no, I was not self-diagnosed.

Well, you sure lost a lot of points when your concern was your reputation.

Seems like you just don't like your relative, and you're looking for permission to cause him problems at work.
