    Motorola XTS5000 Ear/mic

I was wondering what brand earpiece/mic set up you guys were using for your radios.

I have a Motorola XTS5000. I hate when people can hear dispatch or conversations.

You can check with a local audiologist can get a custom earmold. Then you can attach it to one of the kits listed with Otto.
I'm sure there is an independent dealer close by.

I used to cover the local police but I am only here in the SF Bay Area.

      You should check out www.shoppcl.com

      I am a rep for them..Good luck..

I use an older Motorola XTS 3000 with a Motorola hand mic and "ARC" listen only ear piece. Look at "ARC" Astra Radio Communications web site.

            Earphoneconnection.com
I wear mine 10-12 hour shifts, after the earpiece wears in takes about 4-5 shifts
I don't even know it's there. Get the black earpiece after awhile if you get the clear flesh tone one it turns an ugly yellow.

My radio is a Motorola XPR3500. I have the handset right now but the penny pinchers ordered me a no-name ear piece and mic combo that I will get after the start of next fiscal.

I use Free linc mic with a molded ear piece like Rouge suggested. Love it.

+1 on earphoneconnection.com. I have the Hawk lapel mic with the quick disconnect. Very comfortable and functions great.
