No such thing as hicap in ca but yes you can sell large caps to ffl or leo. -
Oh I thought I was on the calguns forumOriginally posted by Ron-SoloKnock it off. Quit playing silly word games. This is the LE forum. Please read the rules. I'm guessing you are not LE because you gave incorrect information.
Are you LE? I doubt it, because a LEO wouldn't come in here suggesting illegal activity.
In California, is is ILLEGAL to OFFER FOR SALE any magazine with a capacity of more than 10 rounds unless you are licensed by DOJ to sell large capacity ammunition devices. A person with such a license can only sell to those persons/entities that can lawfully obtain them.
Based on the above, a non licensed private individual is violating the law by simply offering them for sale, regardless of the issue that the seller is a peace officer.
Please don't come into the LE forum and spread rubbish. I suggest you go back and re-read the rules for this specialty forum.Comment

Can someone with HiCap mags sell them to a law enforcement officer or ffl legally?
Im pretty sure you are allowed to sell them to LEO's but I want to be sure.
Because I know the law states offers for sale exposes etc etc is probibited and from what I read im pretty sure that selling them to a LEO is legal.
Or if I wanted to get rid of them am I just limited to selling out of state?
Just double checking to be sure.
Thanks in advanced
Yes you can sell to law enforcement or block them to 10 rounds and sell them.Comment

IBTL and as a corollary, some places if your observed to be in possession of your lawfully owned property it can be taken from you and destroyed as a nuisance.
Unless I'm missing something
Which happens the nights I'm tearing the house apart for either uniform shirts or holsters. Neither of which I'm finding

Last time I saw him he was head of Dodger Security, couple years ago , came to the armory to get his guns checked out and cleaned. Man he had a 3 1/2 " model 27 I was drooling over. He was my Capt. for many years. Couldnt ask for a more fair, decent , guy to work for. ( If you could figure out what he was talking about, just kidding!!!!Comment
