Anyone carry M&P9c for back up?

Does anyone here carry a M&P9c for back up? Is it too big? Thoughts?

I had one as my primary CCW weapon. Sold it and bought an XDS.
It's a double stack, so kind of big for a BUG.

It's a bit big, and now that I have a Shield I would (and do when the need arises) use that instead, but I carried an M&P9C as a backup (front left pocket) for the last seven or so months before I left patrol. It wasn't uncomfortable and if I didn't or couldn't carry the Shield I wouldn't have a problem using the M&P9C again.

For on duty back up, I just used S&W 2" 5 shot revolver. Simple, and I did not have think about oiling or malfunction although I always maintain my firearms regularly.

I carried it in my 10-24 vest pouch for a while. Switched to a m&p shield just because it's thinner. Great bug and ccw gun.

I drank the M&P kool aid recently and think the compact would be a good bug because it can use the full size mags. That's probably the main reason I'm thinking about it.

I use a M&P .40c for off-duty but I would take a Shield for a BUG. The double stack is a tad big in my mind for BUG purposes.
