Anyone see this article about a homeowner calling 911 to report his house cat had attacked him and forced him out of the house for SEVERAL HOURS? On a slow night (or a busy night in which a beat partner was refusing to handle his beat) I would definitely volunteer for that call... though I'm not sure it would go far to keeping my faith in humanity.

Never underestimate the stupid things people call for. I wonder if it gave them a chance to practice their verbal judo skills? I'm not sure I'd add that particular call and resolution to my resume though.
