    Firearms finally freed!

I moved to Nevada 5 months ago and was able to remove the fin grip on a couple of my rifles. I finally got around to de-Californicating/freeing the rest, along with freeing up all of the mags I've had to restrict to just 10 rounds. These mags will still bear the scars of their captivity, some still retaining their bullet button attachments, as a reminder of what could happen if CA politics get to rule the country.

Free at last!!! Guess I'll have to put the old components up for sale...especially the handmade Tommy gun fin.

Years ago, I bought some USGI M1 Carbine mags from WWII that had to be neutered before I could receive them into CA. One of the first things I did when I moved to NV was to put the mags back to their intended 15 rounds.

Just wait until you walk in to a gunstore for the first time and walk out with a gun!

Yes, especially when that gun is a pistol that is not on the roster and it comes with 18-20 round mags.

..... or a gun show where you pay your money , shake hands and walk out.

Excellent! Nice to save all those mags, even though 30rnd Pmags are damn cheap. I've seen them new here (TX) at gunshows for as little as $10 bucks each. Most mags for that matter are cheap and plentiful.

ETA: When we first arrived to our new home, one of the first things I did, even before unpacking most of our things, was drag out 1000rnds of 7.62, to link up in 100rnd belts for the 1919a4. Simply because well, I could.

Congrats and enjoy your new freedoms.

                      Freedom is addicting.
