There's a rumor that Charlie Kirk may run for gov of AZ next cycle.

I think he would do a good job, but he's going to be tied to Trump, especially given his key role in the last election. That means he would face the same headwinds that Kari did, in the never-Trumper enclaves of power in Maricopa County.

Yeah as much as I like Charlie and think he’d do a great job, the left and RINOS will certainly put a target on him. One of the first things they will key on is he is not even a college graduate and he doesn’t know any better, that’s why he blindly supports Trump. Same old talking points that work with a certain part of the population.

While you have a point and demographics play a big role in AZ politics. I do believe that it’s starting to take a turn for the better, I use Texas as a model predominantly Hispanic or at least 50% and they are solid red. As long as the left keeps up with their far left freak politics more and more Hispanics will go right.

I doubt the hispanic-ness of the state matters much. Kari got pretty close to a hispanic dem that had many years in the House. I think for the rank and file voter, his biggest challenge is name recognition.

As for not finishing college:

Oh I agree with that 100%, he has proven many times he is much smarter than the vast majority of college educated people. But the left and his RINO opponents will use it against him, not that they will be right but they will fill the airways with misinformation about it.
