My brother moved from SoCal to Prescott Valley, AZ. It's a long drive from the State of Jefferson and will be making that drive soon. So long, that I am breaking up the journey with stops in Reno and Las Vegas.

You're right. I would also scratch Arizona from the list for the reasons that you mentioned. You also can't surf anywhere in Arizona.

Take a look at Alaska. It's slowly changing just like most places. When I lived there in the '70s and '80s, the political spectrum ran from heavily conservative to moderately conservative. Liberals just were not allowed. Today they're allowed, but there's just not enough of them to do much damage.

There's lot of good surfing spots at Yakutat and along the Kenai, and they're never crowded. You can also ride the tidal bores along Turnagin Arm for miles. California boasts that you can Ski and Surf in the same day, but in Alaska you can do it almost from the same parking lot.

Kentucky only voted 64.6% for Trump while Kowmalduh got 33.9% . My county (Harrison) voted 73.6% Trump which really isn't that good considering that we had multiple counties that voted over 90% for Trump.
