Is there a consensus "best" .22 silencer?

I have a cheap YHM that's using an old design, and with supers out of a pistol it has quite a bit of snap to it. I don't know if a "better" one would be quieter.

I have a friend with a Mask, and I keep trying to talk him into bringing it out so I can compare.

I know the Mask is/was pretty popular. Is there a "better" one out there?

I am looking for a new .22 silencer also. I have a Warlock II that I got for free from SilenerCo's BOGO deal a few years ago. It is O.K. but I have read there are ones out that are much quieter. The Mask has great reviews as does the TBAC. It would be nice to hear some first-hand experience though.

Is the Warlock II a monocore? I think the first one was. Monocores are known for being not all that quiet, but a lot easier to clean.

The Huxworx titanium has great ad copy and is only 400 bucks, but I wish I could find instrumented tests. But it seems like nobody does those any more.

I have the Dead Air Mask, it is excellent. The host is a MK-IV Lite, one of most fun handguns to shoot.

I own 3 .22 suppressors and have come to the conclusion that they all sound about the same after the first shot. My favorite is the Mask but my Oculus is not far behind.

Non modular - Dead Air Mask
          Modular - Rugged Oculus.

My next .22 will be an integral baffle suppressor for a Ruger 10/22 or American Rimfire.

Mine is the click together removable baffles. It is actually pretty darn easy to clean. I am looking for a new suppressor to use as a dedicated unit on my AR 22 rifle.

I don't enjoy shooting .22 rifles at all, especially at a range. It's quiet enough not to use ears but you have to anyway because of all the other shooters. I had a 10/22 because my shooting buddies way back when had them and shooting at completely different targets isn't much fun. Then it was stolen. I replaced it many years later because I felt like I should. Never shot it even once.

Ruger make an integral baffle setup that's pretty cool for the 10/22. Maybe they make one for the American too, I don't know.
