    CdA Hate Crime Law

Anyone who lives up there can comment?

1984 was supposed to be a warning, not a "How To" guide.

RINOs! While I do not condone hate speech, unless it amounts to "fighting words," it is protected by the First Amendment. You can still open carry your AR w/30 rnd. mags. in CDA!

You can open carry your AR, with whatever mags you want, in any city or town in Idaho. There's a state law prohibiting cities and towns from passing their own 2A restrictions.

You are correct. That is part of what makes Idaho is the GREATEST STATE in the Nation! Am I biased? Of course! Become an Idahoan and you will be biased too, as you enjoy 2A freedoms unlike other states. Unfortunately, Idaho is full.

Yes! Unfortunately, even Idaho is not free of libtards, although we do have them outnumbered.

Just curious, are there any restrictions on full auto capable firearms ownership? In either case, Idaho is definitely a great state to be in and to be proud of!

While still a majority, please do all you can to contain them through appropriate state legislation. They have a proclivity to spread like cancer if left unchecked. California is unfortunately a case in point.

Really great! Just checked the NRA-ILA Idaho webpage: https://www.nraila.org/gun-laws/state-gun-laws/idaho/ and then did some additional research on this great state.

Idaho is now back on my list of possible states to move to, along with just two other ones (without state income taxes), regardless of the fact that it does tax incomes. It's not just a 2A thing, but Idaho is overall really a great state worthy of consideration! I just hope ways will be pursued and found to properly restrain these libtards presently getting out of control...

Yes, Idaho taxes income but not like California. You need to look at the total tax picture. Vehicle registration fees are much lower, and the property tax system is different. A year or two back when the state had collected too much, we got a refund!

Sure, many things need to be taken into consideration to get a realistic understanding of the pros and cons of moving to a new place of residence, with vehicle registration fees and property taxes, as you have pointed out, definitely being parts of the comparison.
Truly a great state, Idaho! Hopefully, one day, I'll live there too or, at least, visit it extensively. What I know for sure at this point is that my mind is made up and I won't be living in California much longer...

No, just get your federal tax stamp and good to go. In fact, there is a very active automatic weapons club in our state that frequently has demo shoots using considerable firepower. The Parma range, among others, hosts them. They also have various competitions. They are a great bunch and you don't have to actually own an auto weapon to join:
