In the last 2 years or so of working there the physical building (which is a hospital) had been hit by gunfire twice! Once from a shooting on a neighboring block where two people were shooting at each other in their backyards, and another time when a rival gang saw the car of the person they were trying to kill That car had driven the person (teen) that had been shot to the ER and the car was parked in the drop off circle outside the main entrance of the hospital. They saw the car and proceeded to unload on it and fill it with bullets. Oh, and this was at a Children's hospital! More and more staff members have been assaulted and attacked just walking across the street to the employee parking lot. One nurse that was recently attacked pressed the emergency call button in the parking lot after she was attacked and the button was out of service! Because of all this, I had no problem trading access to fine dining and shopping for my own personal safety and being around more like-minded people and in a community where I feel safe and have access to the outdoor activities I enjoy.

It is a fact that blacks have become the new protected class and now feel entitled to steal, kill and generally act as though the law doesn't apply to them. If you try to hold them accountable for their actions, you get labeled as a racist. when you point out the issues associated with the homeless scum, you are called heartless.

Just listen to how their "leaders" bleat over the fact that businesses are leaving the inner cities due to rampant thievery in the stores and assaults on customers and employees in their parking lots.

I know that folks are afraid to say it, but the truth is still the truth in spite of what the leftoids want you to think. I was born at Kaiser-Permanente, the lions share of my family is from Oakland and I know very well what the current racial demographic of that city is and the extent of the homeless situation in the Bay area.

Not having a wife to hold you back from living where you want to is a huge plus when contemplating a long distance move. I have been happily divorced for nearly 26 years at this point and I really, really enjoy being able to go where I want and spend my money the way I want, without having to get someone else's approval.

Congrats on settling to your new place! On a brighter note, I wore my American flag hoodie to Livermore Costco last year and the young female Caucasian cashier said to me "I like your hoddie"! So there are tiny spots of brightness in our libtard bay area.

He mentioned high desert, which would seem to limit the choices to parts of Arizona and New Mexico. He added that he got his CCW a month or so before he moved there, so that should eliminate New Mexico, unless he somehow established residency before actually moving. But the total population of wolves in Arizona is very low. I am now voting for fairyland, especially with only a 30% pay cut from the SF Bay area.

Also mentioned it's a blue state, but I am in a very conservative town/part of the state. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before our 2A rights start getting taken away here. State legislators have been trying, but have been unsuccessful in instituting magazine capacity limits. Liek I said, still don't have a restore or restrictions here, can own a suppressor, etc., so at least there's that.
I would not call moving to a "blue" state escaping. Wolves, deer, elk and mountain lion could include Washington which issues non-resident permits, but Washington has magazine capacity limits. High desert could include eastern Oregon. Oregon will issue to non-residents, but only if you find the right sheriff and generally they are not in counties that typically have wages within 30% of the SF bay area. See arguments advanced by the Greater Idaho Movement.

Edit. Vinnie has not responded that it is not Oregon and there is the possibility that he got an Oregon CHL from a friendly sheriff in one county, such as Klamath, but changed his address to a different Oregon county after moving. The difficulty is that he claims that his location is in a "very conservative town/part of the state." To me, that would be limited to those Oregon counties that have voted to become part of Idaho, which excludes Umatilla County.

I think parts of Minnesota have "high dessert" areas.

Why so secretive? If you don’t want people to know even what state you wound up in.. why post about it at all?

But congrats; hopefully it’s a good move for you.

I think it’s eastern Tennessee. Minnesota doesn’t have “ high desert” maybe high frozen tundra. But desert definitely not

I doubt if it's Tennessee. I haven't seen anything east of here that would qualify as high desert and this is not a Dumbocrap run state. Well, except of course for the usual libtard enclaves like Nashville and Memphis, AKA the "Chicago of the South".

As for whether he reveals where is is located or not, that is his business and his alone. I personally have no need to know where he is, nor do I have any sort of burning desire to find out.

It does not appear that Tennessee has any wolves.
