Sorry guys, I'm 60 and been in SOCAL my entire life. Gotta get out while I still can.

Just bought a home in Oklahoma. That place is awesome! Everyone is so nice almost to the point of making me puke! LOL

Here are some money items of note:

Mojave Propane - $5 per gallon : Oklahoma - $2
Mojave Electric SCE - $.37 per KWH : Oklahoma OEC - .09 per KWH
Mojave gasoline - $4.85 per gallon : Oklahoma - $2.35
Groceries were cheaper than you could imagine.
Bought a home on 3.19 acres for $320k that would have been $750 anywhere else here in SOCAL.

I still get to do my same job because my company has a facility within 30 miles of my new house which is my normal commute time.

Got my Oklahoma driver's license and me and my boy went to a gun store, bought a gun and took it home all within 15 minutes!!

Congratz! Totally disgusted with this foul, sh*t stained state. Went shopping with the wife yesterday, two cop cars out in front of the store as we were leaving. Zero chicken at Nob Hill. Zero eggs at Safeway. Ground beef was $8.99/lb!? Had to buy a 5 lb pack to get a discount to $3.99/lb. Chicken broth is $3.99/square box. Gas is $4.99 or $4.89/gal.
