I went to the big city to play a little poker today. I don't think I've seen sub-$3 gas since 2021. Even so, that's 50% higher than when The Donald was in charge.

Makes me wonder why, the drastic up and down of fuel prices in 2023 is very unsettling. Are they lowing the prices now in hopes of helping the Dem cause in 2024, is the Biden regime flooding the market with our oil reserves.

Don't worry, the govt can't control gas prices. They're based on oil, which is controlled by oil speculators on the futures market. The oil price was affected somewhat by Brandon's dumping of the SRO, but there's not much to dump any more. He should be buying right now to bring that level up.Comment

$2.79 is the lowest I've seen locally in the past few days. It was $2.74 two years ago, but under $2 in 2020. It was up near $4 for a while last year. FJB.
